The Covington, Kentucky Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #1 was the first FOP Lodge in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The Lodge was chartered in December 1941. Covington FOP Lodge #1 joined with Newport Lodge #2 and Ashland Lodge #3 joined together to establish the Kentucky State Fraternal Order of Police Lodge.

  The Covington FOP currently represents over 160 active and retired police officers from the Covington, KY Police Dept. We provide a resource for our members to be represented at the Local, State and National levels in labor and safety issues, labor negotiations, community outreach as well as in many other aspects.  In addition to the many charitable organizations we donate to throughout the year, we support Special Olympics Kentucky and provide an annual shopping program where officers shop with, and purchase goods for, local underprivileged children/families at Christmas time. The Covington Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #1 is committed to providing quality representation to our members and promoting unity among police officers and the great community for whom we serve.
